For the second consecutive week, the indices of BSE closed in different directions - Sofix and BG TR30 lost respectively 1.14 % and 1.33 %, while price-weighted BG 40 and sectoral BG REIT added 0.46 % and 2.80 % to their values. And while Sofix with its value of 305.81 points hit the second lowest of the year, the BG REIT continued its appreciation, which amounts to 13.78 % this year and for the quarter - 19.76 %. The largest weekly turnover on the stock exchange made ordinary shares of the Chimimport AD with 950 thousand BGN followed by Expat Beta REIT with 733 thousand BGN and Blagoevgrad-BT AD - 700 thousands BGN. The number of Americans who are filed initial claims for unemployment benefits last week remains at a 4-year low - evidence of recovery in the labor market in the U.S., announced Bloomberg. During the week to February 18, applications for unemployment benefits remained unchanged at the level of 351 thousand - the lowest since March 2008, according to the Ministry of Labour.
