SOFIX fell by 1.11 % during the week to 288.50 points at its end and is near three-year low of 288.20 points on June 1, 2012. From the companies included in the the index only two of them  reported a rise in prices - Bulgartabac Holding with a growth of 5.32 % for the week and Advance Terrafund REIT - by 1.35 %. With the strong decrease of 8.09 % were shares of CCB. The Bank announced that it will attract the subordinated debt of 45 million BGN from it principal shareholder - CCB Group. The loan will be utilized once, the term is 7 years, 4.5 % interest per year and repayment of principal will be at maturity as bullet payment.

NSI publishes data on inflation and trade of Bulgaria with the EU - the consumer price index (CPI) for May 2012 to April 2012 is 99.9 %, ie monthly inflation was minus 0.1 %. Inflation this year (May 2012 to December 2011) is 1.6 % and annual inflation for May 2012 to May 2011 was 1.7 %. Annual inflation for the period June 2011 - May 2012 to the period June 2010 - May 2011 was 2.9 %. During the period January - March 2012 Bulgaria's exports to the EU decreased by 4.6 % over the same period of previous year and amounted to over BGN 5.4 billion. The main trade partners of Bulgaria were Germany, Italy, Romania, Greece and France, which formed 66.7 % of exports to countries - EU members. The most significant increase was observed in exports to Cyprus and Portugal, while the largest fall was recorded in the goods exported to Belgium and Luxembourg. Imports from the EU of Bulgaria for the period January-March 2012 increased by 8.9 % over the same period the previous year and exceeded BGN 6.6 billion, prices CIF. The largest growth was recorded in imports from Cyprus, Estonia, Netherlands and Portugal, the largest reduction - for imports from Malta and Finland.
