The first spring month of the year began with a spring mood on the stock exchange - all four stock indexes recorded growths. Leader by growth was veteran Sofix, which added 2.48 percent to its value, followed by the best performer this year - BG REIT- with 2.14 %. Among the most liquid companies most appreciated shares of Kaolin with 7.6 %, followed by EMKA AD, BSE and Elhim Iskra, which rose by 6 % each. At the other extreme were Sviloza AD, Doverie Obedinen Holding and Biovet, which lost 11 %, 9 % and 8 %. Exchanges in the world lost its momentum and growth rates were limited to within one percent, except Japan, where NIKKEI rose by 1.34 % and DJIA and FTSE, which reported slight declines. Preliminary data from Finance ministery in Athens showed that during the first month of the year was generated a deficit of EUR 490 million, while at the same time last year was recorded a surplus of EUR 154 million.
